Capability statement · September 2026

Technology can be bought. Capability has to be built.

An Adelaide AI consulting and build studio. We take organisations from scattered AI experimentation to governed systems their own people can run.

Who we are

Advice and delivery from the same team.

The people who write the roadmap are the people who build what is on it.

Most organisations do not have an AI problem. They have a scattered-experimentation problem: a few licences, a few enthusiasts, no shared rules, and no way to tell which of it is worth keeping. We exist to close that gap, and to leave the capability behind rather than take it with us.

We work with mid-market Australian organisations. By that we mean organisations big enough to need tailored governance, and decisive enough to move quickly. Every framework we write is built for the organisation in front of us, not a template with a new logo and ABN. Since 2025 we have delivered across ten industries, including food production, energy, financial services and professional services.

The same approach carries into government and not-for-profit work. simplefy.ai is the sole delivery agency for South Australia's first AI Capability Pilot Program.

The one rule
we do not bend

Governance comes before implementation. Not a policy filed and forgotten, but the decisions about what data may be touched, by which tool, under whose approval, made before anything sensitive is connected.

What you get

Your AI operating system.

Every organisation building with AI needs the same five pillars, inside a governed environment. Together they build your agents. Select a pillar to see what goes in, and what stays yours.

Build establishes your foundations and puts the five pillars to work. Operate keeps them current, governed and useful as your business and AI evolve.

The foundation

Foundations

The governed environment, a live model of your business, and the roadmap.

Five pillars, select one

Models

Pillar 1 of 5

What we put in
  • The right model for each job, chosen on cost and capability
  • A shared way to call them, so nothing is locked to one vendor
  • Evaluation, so you know what a model actually does well
What stays yours
  • The model accounts and the spend, in your own name
  • Your data, kept out of anyone's training runs
  • The freedom to change model as better ones arrive
How you see it
  • Cost per workflow, not one bill you cannot read
  • Quality checks that run as models change underneath you
  • A plain record of which model does which job

Skills

Pillar 2 of 5

What we put in
  • Your real processes, written down and turned into skills
  • One library, so every agent works the same way
  • Versioning, so a change is deliberate and traceable
What stays yours
  • The skill library itself, in your own repository
  • The know-how, captured instead of sitting with one person
  • The right to change how the work is done, any time
How you see it
  • Which skill ran, on what, and what it produced
  • New skills added as your processes change
  • A clear line from a business process to the agent doing it

Tools

Pillar 3 of 5

What we put in
  • Connections into the systems you already run
  • Least-privilege access, scoped to what each agent needs
  • A register of every connection and what it can reach
What stays yours
  • Your systems, your data, and the credentials behind them
  • The ability to switch a connection off in one step
  • Approval over anything new an agent gets to touch
How you see it
  • A live map of what is connected to what
  • Alerts when a connection fails or behaves oddly
  • Usage you can trace back to a person or an agent

Governance

Pillar 4 of 5

What we put in
  • An AI use policy, and the usage boundaries that go with it
  • Risk assessments, run at the start and kept current
  • Audit trails, so every agent decision can be traced
What stays yours
  • The policies and the register, in your own environment
  • Clear accountability for how each agent is used
  • The final call on anything the agents escalate
How you see it
  • Monthly reporting on how the fleet is behaving
  • Live observability on every agent in your business
  • A senior simplefy person accountable for the AI in your business

People

Pillar 5 of 5

What we put in
  • Training, so your team can direct agents with confidence
  • Clear ownership for every agent we stand up
  • A path for your people to build their own skills and agents
What stays yours
  • The capability, held by your team and not by us
  • The decisions about what agents do and do not do
  • The relationships your customers actually value
How you see it
  • Capability growing, measured against where you started
  • Named owners you can see for every agent in the fleet
  • Your people doing the work only people should do

What they build

Agents

Your AI workforce, built from all five pillars.

Where your team meets them

In your tools

In the systems your team already uses, not another app to learn.

Our five services

Build capability. Keep it moving.

AI keeps changing. We help your people, systems and ways of working develop together. Build establishes the foundations and puts your first priorities to work. Operate keeps that capability useful as your business and AI evolve.

Five services contribute across both stages. Select a service below to explore how we help.

Build establishes direction, foundations and the first priorities. Operate runs, reviews, improves and extends that capability. Results and learning shape what we build next.

  • AI Strategy: direction, priorities and a roadmap that develops with results.
  • AI Governance: rules, oversight and controls that adapt with use.
  • AI Solutions: agents and workflows, built, tested and continuously refined.
  • AI Education: skills and confidence developed through real work.
  • AI Leadership: leadership alignment, communications, change management, people and culture.

Build & Operate

AI Strategy & Roadmap

Where should we start, and what should we defer?

Who it is for

Leadership teams who need direction rather than another scattering of experiments, and organisations already using AI in places who want a coherent, prioritised plan.

What you get

A board-ready roadmap: an AI vision tied to the business strategy, a prioritised portfolio of use cases, and a sequence showing what to start and what to defer. Through Operate, results and new possibilities inform regular reviews of that roadmap.

What makes ours different

The use case briefs are scoped by the same team that builds the solutions, so the roadmap reflects what can actually ship rather than what sounds good in a workshop.

“We ran a process through simplefy.ai to help us level-set and assess our AI maturity, auditing the systems we actually run on, and they then produced a governance framework with an approved tool list and a phased roadmap. In financial services, the governance question needs to come before the technology question, and simplefy.ai is the first group we have worked with that treated it that way. The roadmap provided to us was clear enough to take to our board.”

Build & Operate

AI Governance

How do we use AI safely, and make decisions we can defend?

Who it is for

Organisations that have started using AI with nothing formal in place, those already using AI who need real machinery around vendors and incidents, and regulated organisations needing client overlays.

What you get

Proportionate governance sized to your organisation: AI principles, a use policy, a systems inventory and register, a mapping index, and the vendor, risk and incident processes behind them. Through Operate, these controls are reviewed as systems, use and risks change.

What makes ours different

It is the same framework we run internally, exercised against real AI systems continuously rather than written once and shelved.

“Plenty of programs will show a founder a tool. Our founders leave with a responsible AI framework, risk statements and the language to answer an investor or an enterprise customer asking how they manage AI, which is the question that now decides whether a young company gets through procurement.”

Build & Operate

AI Solutions

Can we improve or automate this specific piece of work with AI?

Who it is for

Organisations with a concrete workflow to automate, teams wanting to test an agent idea against reality first, and clients ready to build what a roadmap prioritised.

What you get

An agent doing a specific piece of work: Skills and Tools from your operating system, combined to produce an agreed result, with defined inputs, outputs and the checkpoints where a person in your team has the final say. Tested with real users against criteria set before the build, then monitored and refined through Operate where that support is in scope.

How it ends

With an evidence-based recommendation to scale, refine or stop. Because the criteria are set first, the answer is grounded in evidence rather than enthusiasm, and stop is a real answer we have given.

“The AI sales agent built by simplefy has transformed how our team works. It helps new and existing staff quote faster, follow process, and deliver better customer experiences, without chasing info across teams. We have seen clear improvements in efficiency, consistency, and confidence during a critical growth phase.”

Wayne Faranda, Managing Director, 1KOMMA5° Australia

Build & Operate

AI Education

We build real confidence across the team, not just awareness.

Who it is for

Teams moving from curiosity to competence, leadership groups wanting a grounded briefing before they decide, and organisations investing in capability across a workforce.

What you get

Build days where people build something that works. Honest executive briefings about what AI can and cannot do. Multi-week programs, run as private or public sessions.

What makes ours different

In a typical consulting model, senior people pitch the work and then hand it to a relationship manager and a junior team. With us, the same small team writes the strategy, builds the solutions and runs the education. Our facilitators do not point at a slide and say “learn this”. They do this work every day, so they can go well beyond the standard playbook when your team asks the harder question. People build; they do not watch.

“We have replaced an offshore admin function and a personal assistant role with an upskilled team member and an AI chief of staff that runs on demand. It saves us around $20,000 a year, an existing employee has moved into higher value work, and the work stays in Australia.”

AI Education

Enabling your people, across Build and Operate.

Build and Operate both move further when your own people can do the work. Education runs throughout, so skills grow as the system develops and the capability stays with your team.

Key components

01

Use AI well

Delegation, context, and judging what comes back.

02

Apply it to your work

Real tasks from your own week, not exercises.

03

Build your own

Skills and agents your team writes, inside the governed environment.

04

Share it

What you built becomes something a colleague can pick up.

05

Make it routine

Named owners and maintenance, so it outlives the engagement.

Build & Operate

AI Leadership

Who is going to own this, and keep it moving?

Who it is for

Organisations that need senior ownership of AI adoption, and leadership teams seeking support to bring their people through the change. This includes communications, culture and new ways of working, alongside delivery and investment decisions.

What you get

Senior AI leadership resourced from our team: leadership alignment, communications, change management, and support for people and culture as ways of working evolve. Clear ownership, a practical operating rhythm, and regular reporting keep adoption and outcomes visible to executives and the board.

Where it ends

Handover. We plan from the start toward someone internal taking ownership, so the engagement builds your capacity rather than a dependency on us.

“Before simplefy.ai, our AI use was one person with a chatbot. We mapped the manual work across the team and it came to 241 hours a week. simplefy built three agents into how we actually operate, then ran education sessions so our team could build their own. The capability sits with us rather than with them, which is not what we expected from a consultancy. That is the difference between buying a tool and changing how a business works.”

Sam Johnson, Commercial Director, Works Media Group

“Partnering with simplefy.ai is an important step in shaping our long-term approach to digital transformation, which is embedded in our strategic plan. Their team is working closely with us to develop a clear and practical AI roadmap that aligns with our strategic priorities and strengthens our ability to make an impact in the community.”

Professor Paul Flynn, Group Chief Executive Officer, THRF GroupNovember 2025

AI Governance

Financial services · under 10 staff · Adelaide

Turner Securities

A governance question that finished as a faster way of working.

A multi-generational financial services firm came to us asking about AI governance. Working alongside their team, we found the practical opportunities first: monthly investor reporting that took more than twenty minutes of manual pivot-table work, and significant re-keying in monthly portfolio reporting.

The investor report now runs in under three minutes and the re-keying is gone. What matters more is where the capability sits. The work was built with their team rather than handed to them, so their people now take on more complex reporting themselves.

“simplefy.ai built capability within the Turner Securities team rather than simply handing us a tool. The productivity gains have created meaningful additional capacity, and we are using that capacity to grow rather than reduce our team.”

Support Plus

A caregiving business that got a day and a half a week back.

Support Plus is a caregiving app for unpaid carers, built around one question: what happens to the person I care for if something happens to me? Information sat in five places and moved between them by hand.

The first Build Day taught the founder to set up her own connectors, which she describes as the single biggest time saver of everything built, because everything else depends on it. From there: an email agent running three sweeps a day that pre-drafts every reply in her voice, seven scheduled agents, and a monthly content engine that produces the next month of social content for her to approve.

Her own estimate is roughly twelve hours a week back, between nine and fifteen depending on the week. She is explicit that these are her estimates of work the agents now do instead of her, not a measured time study. The human-first promise held throughout: no agent replies to a member, and every member still gets a person within ten minutes.

“My email agent is still my favourite thing, and now that I have it I cannot believe it took me that long to build it.”

Standard Ledger

From five systems to one conversation, then from using to building.

Every new client touched five systems that did not talk to each other. Onboarding worked because people made it work: copying between systems, chasing details, and knowledge held by a handful of staff. Clients were sometimes asked for the same thing twice.

One discovery workshop mapped the process end to end and produced fifteen specification documents, written before a line of code. A three day on-site build sprint five weeks later delivered a working end to end onboarding experience by the final day, with roughly 190 automated tests and five system integrations. New clients now onboard through a normal conversation, and the system only asks for what it does not already know.

What happened next matters more. Seven custom skills went in across the firm, and a running education program including the UK team moved people from using what we built to building their own. The next build is client-facing, so their clients can see live cash position and sales in one place.

Client quote being finalised.
